About this website

This website is operated by Mr Daniel Peter Morris Swallow, practising as DPMS Urology (GMC number 6128674). By using the site you accept these terms.

Medical information — important

This website does not provide medical advice

The information here is general in nature and is provided to help you understand common urological conditions and treatments. It is not medical advice, and it cannot take account of your individual circumstances. Always consult a qualified doctor about your own health, and never delay seeking medical advice because of something you have read here.

Clinical information on this site follows patient guidance published by the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS). Medical understanding changes over time, and while the site is reviewed periodically, no guarantee is given that all content is current at the time you read it.

No doctor–patient relationship

Using this website, or submitting the appointment request form, does not create a doctor–patient relationship. That relationship begins only once you are formally accepted as a patient and seen in consultation.

Urgent medical problems

This website and its contact form are not monitored around the clock and must not be used in an emergency. If you are seriously unwell, contact your GP, call NHS 111, or in an emergency call 999 or attend your nearest A&E department.

Appointment requests

Submitting the form is a request, not a confirmed booking. An appointment exists only once the private secretary has confirmed it with you directly. There is no online booking system on this site.

Intellectual property

The content, design and images on this website are owned by or licensed to the practice and may not be reproduced without permission.

Links to other websites

Where this site links to external websites, those links are provided for convenience. The practice is not responsible for the content or accuracy of any external site.

Liability

The website is provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any loss arising from reliance on its general content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
